New finest traders Ltd (NFT)is a newly established company working in packaging with a vision of Triumphing over all layers of woven sack users in Rwanda, Great Lake Region and dig up a Portion for East Africa countries� sack product.

In this regard, the company’s mission is to lead sack producer and marketer of sacks for agro-processing manufacturers and other businesses that need woven sack packaging.

The company operates a plant in Kigali Special Economic Zone and has already developed core competencies in

Offering high quality, a branded product whose image is recognizable among consumers;
Creating a sense of community among consumers who purchase the products; and developing a reputation among retailers as a reliable manufacturer and delivering the requested number of products on schedule.
The firm intends to build on these competencies through marketing efforts to increase the number of products offered; initiate and operationalize distribution outlets in 4 Provinces of Rwanda and City of Kigali. By forming strong relationships with consumers, retailers, and suppliers of sacks in all Rwandan market place, NFT traders believe it can create a sustainable competitive advantage.

Currently, the company is recruiting an experienced professional local or regional/international to fill the position of marketing officer and support the existing marketing staff to meet minimum factory targets.

Marketing Officer (1)

Qualification

Minimum: Undergraduate degree in business management/marketing or related field with 7 years of experience in the marketing area.

Proven award /certification to have prepared or successful in marketing

At least have participated in recruiting clients from at least 5 countries (countries from Africa, Asia, Europe. USA or Canada).

Reporting

The Marketing officer produces regular reports on the current Marketing operations and submits Weekly, Monthly and quarterly reports.

Job Purpose

The Marketing officer translates customer requirements into state-of-the-Sacks selling resulting in cost-effective processing and profitable for New Finest Traders products.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Contribute to the development of a marketing strategy for the company in line with company objectives.
Overall responsibility for brand management and corporate identity
Monitor and report on the effectiveness of marketing communications.
Maintain effective internal communications to ensure that all relevant company functions are kept informed of marketing objectives.
Analyzing potential strategic partner relationships for company marketing.
Make a regular sales forecast at New Finest Traders
Propose New Marketing Strategies for increasing sales with low opportunity cost
To proactively develop standard and service delivery to Clients;
Oversee and direct the efforts of the marketing outsourced team
Review and adjust Marketing schedule where needed;
Contribute positively and productively to a professional, innovative, responsive and effective in-house marketing and service for the New Finest Traders
Develop segmentation, competitive analysis/market intelligence, prospecting, lead generation, product and market development, pricing, promotions, communications and budgets, sales force effectiveness, strategic planning, services units, and revenue retention and growth.
Create product roadmap
Work with staff across the New Finest Traders to develop and deliver effective marketing materials, websites and a dynamic online presence that drives selling and meets targets
Develop and deliver innovative and effective targeted promotional campaigns, including advertising/ interactive media/ outdoor promotions that drive recruitment forward and meets targets, often working within short timeframes.
Ensure that New Finest Traders marketing is compliant with the Common Language Scheme used in East Africa and Great lake region clients.
To undertake any other duties consistent with the key responsibilities and duties of the post, as directed by his Line Manager.
