REQUEST FOR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST NOTICE (WASH SECTOR)

TENDER NUMBER: WVR/SCM/SK/IEG/2020/01/33

World Vision International (WVI) is a non-profit, non-denominational Christian humanitarian aid and development organization dedicated to helping children and their communities reach their full potential by tackling the causes of poverty. To this end, WVI has a major focus on the Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH) sector by executing various projects that alleviate poverty across the globe. We invite you to a Request for Expression of Interest exercise for various items needed by our WASH Teams in Uganda, Rwanda, and Ethiopia. The objectives of this exercise are:

To identify suppliers who can supply WVI with the most widely used items within the WASH Category.
To standardize specifications of items supplied to WASH Projects in Uganda, Rwanda, and Ethiopia. This will enable sourcing of quality readily available items at the most cost effective price with the fastest lead-time possible.
All materials supplied must be lead-free. No need to apply if your items have any trace of lead contained in your products. Details and specifications of this requirement will be contained in the RFI.
WASH sub-categories covered are:

1. Hardware Supplies and Installation
2. WASH Services:
I. Feasibility Studies in Hydrological, Water Quality and Topological Studies
II. Evaluation & Research
III. Training: Behavioural Change, Design, Planning and Trouble Shooting
IV. Contract Supervision and Management

Follow up on the Expression of Interest will be by way of a Request for Information.

WVI reserves the right to accept or reject any application without revealing the reasons thereof.
