SUPPLY OF SCHOOL DESKS, IN NGERUKA AND KAMABUYE SECTORS, BUGESERA DSTRCT.

1. Introduction.

Plan International is one of the leading international NGOs implementing child-centered community development programs in 70 countries around the world of which 20 are National Offices. Its vision is of a world in which all children realize their full potential in societies that respect people�s rights and dignity. The plan has been working in Rwanda since 2007.

As a child-centered community development organization, Plan International Rwanda has developed initiatives to enhance child rights with emphasis on protection in various communities.

In collaboration with local government, through its sponsorship project, plan International Rwanda intends to provide school desks to the primary school of Kamabuye and Ngeruka Sectors, in Bugersera District.

2. Overall Project Objective.

To contribute to improved quality of education from the early years up to secondary school by tackling the root causes of drop out and repetition.

i. Specific Objectives of the project.

A successful transition from ECDs to Primary schools, to improve the quality of education from an early age.

This project wishes to procure school desks to Ngeruka and Kamabuye Sectors, in Bugesera District.

4. Eligible firms must meet the following criteria:

i. Registered company and should show evidence that they pay tax;
ii. Registration certificate from RDB
iii. Must have at least 3 years� experience of supplying similar goods in Rwanda;
iv. Must provide references of at least three clients to whom they supplied similar goods.
v. Should state the period for warranty
