A domestic worker identified as Florence, 19, in Kiyovu cell, Nyarugenge sector of Nyarugenge District in Kigali city has been found dead in the kitchen, suspected to have died of suffocation from a heater.<\/p>\n
The death of the girl hailing from Huye district was known on Monday evening.
\nShe was working at the home of a one Karamage Fran\u00e7ois.<\/p>\n
Sources say that it was raining when the girl took shelter in a closed kitchen with a heater inside from where she suffocated.<\/p>\n
The executive secretary of Nyarugenge sector, Nyamutera Innocent has confirmed to the local newspapers that the deceased might have died of suffocation.<\/p>\n
\u201cShe closed herself in the kitchen with a hot brazier as it rained. The brazier is the probable cause of her death,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
Nyamutera explained that Police found the kitchen closed and partly de-roofed the house whereupon they found the girl\u2019s body straddled behind the door.<\/p>\n
