Job Summary<\/p>\n
The AP accountant is responsible for coordinating vendor related transactions, reconciliation of payable accounts, processing vendor payments, following up with the bank to ensure disbursement.<\/p>\n
Key Duties and Responsibilities<\/p>\n
Reviewing documents from cost controller (assistant accountant)
\nChecking to ensure procurement is done as per set policies
\nLiaising with vendors for periodic statements
\nCreditor account reconciliations
\nPreparation of AP ageing report
\nProcessing payments as per AP reconciliations
\nFollow up on bank disbursements
\nPetty cash handling
\nTaxes recognition, filling, payment, and reconciliation
\nAssisting the accountant on execution of other finance tasks
\nSkills, Experience & Educational Requirements<\/p>\n
2 years experience in hotel accounting department
\nBachelors degree\/Accountant certification
\nInterpersonal, organizational, and strong administrative skills
\nStrong communication skills
\nGood business acumen
