Family members of the US based Rwandan woman, Kanyabutembo Virginie, have requested the authorities concerned to arrest, one Me Anselme Uwayezu, a bailiff involved in their case and his partners, accusing him of forgery and perjury in Rubavu Court.<\/p>\n
They allege ” This could not be the first time Uwayezu commit these two crimes for he has become notorious in dealing with illegal auctions in Rubavu District as it is the same case with the properties belonging to Kanyabutembo.”<\/p>\n
Recently, Court in Rubavu decided to halt the auction of a plot of a land and house that belong to Kanyabutembo. However, Me Uwayezu appealed.<\/p>\n
February 25, the court announced the verdict citing Me Uwayezu used forged papers as indicated by its e-system namely IECMS, hence the previous verdict of noting auctioning Kanaybutembo’s properties, still valid.<\/p>\n
It was declared that Uwayezu did not pay fees for the case mortgage, he later denied the allegations in court, claiming he paid , yet failed to prove his statement.<\/p>\n
