{"id":52142,"date":"2022-10-04T09:30:18","date_gmt":"2022-10-04T09:30:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/new.bwiza.com\/2022\/10\/04\/president-samia-drops-mulamula-in-mini-cabinet-reshuffle\/"},"modified":"2022-10-04T09:30:18","modified_gmt":"2022-10-04T09:30:18","slug":"president-samia-drops-mulamula-in-mini-cabinet-reshuffle","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/bwiza.com\/?p=52142","title":{"rendered":"President Samia drops Mulamula in mini Cabinet reshuffle"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Tanzanian President Samia Suluhu Hassan on Sunday made changes to her cabinet, a few months after she reshuffled the cabinet in April.<\/p>\n<p>In the new changes announced in a statement by the Directorate of Presidential Communication, Ms Stergomena Tax has been appointed as Minister for Foreign Affairs and East Africa Cooperation, replacing Liberata Mulamula.<\/p>\n<p>Prior to the new appointment Ms Tax served as the Defence Minister, being the first woman to head the docket.<\/p>\n<p>Innocent Bashungwa, who was the Minister of State in the President\u2019s Office Regional Administration and Local Government, has been moved to the Defence ministry taking over from MS Tax.<\/p>\n<p>President Samia also appointed Ms Angela Kairuki to replace Bashungwa at President\u2019s Office Regional Administration and Local Government.<\/p>\n<p>The new appointees are scheduled to take oath of office on Monday at State House Dar es Salaam.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Tanzanian President Samia Suluhu Hassan on Sunday made changes to her cabinet, a few months after she reshuffled the cabinet in April.
