We have received information from people at Rwanda Military Hospital about his demise.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Prof Mbanda Kalisa has been NEC&#8217;s chairperson since 2012, after succeeding Prof Chrysologue Karangwa.<\/p>\n<p>His mandate at NEC according to Munyaneza had come to an end, but he has been going to work there till Wednesday. Before his death he has paid a visit in his farm early today, before heading to Military hospital.<\/p>\n<p>Apart from being National Electoral Commission boss, Mbanda was on another hand Kigali Independent University honorable Vice Chancellor.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Rwanda National Electoral Commission chairperson Prof. Kalisa Mbanda has passed away this Friday, 13 January.
