Iran’s Intelligence Minister, Esmail Khatib, has announced that Tehran will soon release highly sensitive Israeli documents, allegedly detailing its nuclear arsenal, ties with the U.S., Europe, and other countries, and its defensive capabilities.

Khatib made the announcement on state television on Sunday, describing the obtained documents as “treasure” that could enhance Iran’s position globally, although he did not provide any supporting evidence.

The Israeli government — reportedly the only country in the Middle East with nuclear weapons — has not yet responded to the alleged data theft, according to Al Jazeera.

However, reports claim that Israeli citizens accused of being Tehran’s spies amid the ongoing Gaza war have been arrested.

It remains unclear whether the stolen documents are connected to last year’s cyberattack on Israel’s nuclear research facility.
