An Indian prophet named Astro Sharmistha is reported to have long predicted a major aviation disaster in 2025, before the recent Air India plane crash that claimed many lives.
The prophet had told her followers on social media that “2025 will bring heartbreaking news related to plane crashes.” Just last week, she reiterated that her prophecy might soon come to pass.
The crash occurred on the morning of Thursday, when a Boeing 787 Dreamliner traveling from Ahmedabad to London went down just minutes after takeoff.
The plane was carrying 242 people, including 53 Europeans, 159 Indians, 7 Portuguese nationals, one Canadian, and 11 children including two infants. So far, rescue services in coordination with the military have recovered 204 bodies from the crash site, while many others are still missing.
