East African music legend Jose Chameleone arrived in Rwanda on the morning of Friday, May 23, 2025, ahead of his highly anticipated concert scheduled for Sunday, May 25, 2025, at Kigali Universe.

In the early hours of Friday, Chameleone posted a video on Instagram showing him aboard a RwandAir flight, confirming his journey to Rwanda with the caption:
“Kigali good morning. I am flying. I am going home – Rwanda.”
This concert is one of the most awaited events in Kigali, marking his return to perform in Rwanda after a long break.
Chameleone is widely loved for hits such as Valu Valu, Tatizo, Bayuda, and many more, having made his name in Afrobeat and other trending regional genres.
He is expected to appear on Kiss Drive, a popular radio show, on Friday evening (May 23, 2025), for an interview with Austin of KISS FM, where he will talk about his music journey and the upcoming concert.
Before the show, he is scheduled to tour several media houses across Rwanda to promote the event and interact with fans.
Organizers say tickets are already on sale on official platforms and various outlets. They urge Afro-music lovers to purchase early to avoid missing out on this extraordinary event promising a mix of stars, authentic music, and celebration in Kigali.
