The Rwandan Women’s National Team, Amavubi, will face Egypt this Friday in the first leg of the qualifiers for the Africa Women’s Cup of Nations, with free entry for fans who wish to watch the match live.
According to the Rwanda Football Federation (FERWAFA), the match will take place at Kigali Pelé Stadium starting at 3:00 PM. Entry to the uncovered stands will be free, while fans who prefer the covered stands will pay 1,000 Rwf. VIP tickets will cost 5,000 Rwf, and the VVIP section will be reserved for invited guests.
Ahead of the match, the Amavubi players were visited by the State Minister for Sports, Ngarambe Rwego, on Tuesday, February 18, 2025.
In his speech, Rwego encouraged the players to continue performing well, reminding them that the country fully supports them and is hopeful for victory in this competition.
