On Wednesday, June 4, at least 14 people were killed in a bomb attack on a camp for displaced persons in Darfur, western Sudan.
According to RFI, a local emergency response group in Sudan immediately blamed the Rapid Support Forces (RSF), led by General Hamdan Dagalo.
“The Rapid Support Forces (RSF) bombed the market and homes in the Abu Shouk camp using heavy weaponry,”
These bombings claimed the lives of 14 people and injured many others, according to the local emergency medical unit.
This unit is part of several volunteer groups providing aid to civilians since the war broke out in April 2023 between the RSF and the Sudanese Armed Forces.
