Rwandan singer Clarisse Karasira and her husband Ifashabayo Sylvain Dejoie are celebrating the joyful arrival of their second son, whom they have named Kwema Light FitzGerald.
Karasira shared the exciting news publicly on Instagram on July 9, 2025, writing:
“We have welcomed Kwema, our second son who brings us grace. […] This is our first photo as a family of four. God is faithful beyond measure.”
On June 27, 2025, Clarisse had previously announced her second pregnancy via a video featuring herself, her husband, and their firstborn son Kwanda Krasney Jireh, who was born in the United States at Northern Light Mercy Hospital on June 13, 2022.
Clarisse and Sylvain got married on May 1, 2021, during a ceremony held at Christian Life Assembly (CLA) in Nyarutarama. They first met at a tribute concert for Kamaliza in 2017, which is where their love story began.
Now a family of four, they have expressed immense joy and gratitude to God, a theme Karasira often emphasizes in her heartfelt messages.
