Jean Jacques Boissy, a former REG BBC player, and Aliou Diarra, who played for APR BBC, have been selected to play in the NBA G-League, the second-tier basketball league in the United States.

Aliou Diarra, who made a strong impression in the Rwandan national league and during the Basketball Africa League (BAL), was picked by the Texas Legends.

Jean Jacques Boissy was praised by the Memphis Hustle for his talent and experience shown in African-level competitions.

Out of only 17 international players (non-Americans) selected to join this league, both athletes are among the few representing Africa, bringing pride to Rwanda, whose former club players are now crossing international boundaries.

The NBA G-League is a major stepping stone for players aiming to reach the NBA, and both Boissy and Diarra are expected to perform well and proudly represent the African continent.
