APR FC striker Denis Omedi has been rewarded as Player of the Year in the Ugandan Premier League after a brilliant performance with Kitara FC before his transfer to Rwanda.
The Federation of Uganda Football Associations (FUFA) awarded him with a brand-new car and one million Ugandan shillings.
In addition to being named Player of the Year, Omedi scored the Best Goal of the Season and was also included in the Team of the Year. He was up against top players such as Ssekiganda Ronald and Allan Okello.
Omedi has also been called up to the Uganda national team, which will face Cameroon and Gambia in friendly matches scheduled for June 2025.
