British singer Jessie J has revealed that she underwent breast surgery following a cancer diagnosis. The 37-year-old artist shared that she is now resting at home as she awaits the results of the operation.
Posting on social media, Jessie J thanked the doctors and nurses who cared for her and shared photos and videos showing what the last two days have been like — including footage of her singing in the hospital as she waited to be taken into the operating room.
She had previously announced her breast cancer diagnosis in early June, earning praise from many for her openness in sharing the news as a way to support others going through similar experiences.
She also expressed deep gratitude to her family and fans for their support, adding a heartfelt message to others on a similar journey: “We’ve got this. I’m holding space for all of you.”
