Nduwimana Pascal, the goalkeeper coach of Kiyovu Sports, has denied reports claiming that the club owes him 5.5 million Rwandan francs and that he went hungry while in Kigali.
There had been circulating rumors that the coach had gone two days without eating and lacked the means to return to his home country, Burundi. However, Pascal told UMUSEKE that the allegations are false.
He stated:
“I have no problem at all with Kiyovu Sports. I am not poor, I have never lacked food, and I have no issue returning to my country.”
The management of Kiyovu Sports has not issued any statement regarding the rumors.
The club is currently facing financial challenges, with debts reaching 157 million Rwandan francs, which led to a ban on registering new players.
