Tanzanian superstar artist Diamond Platnumz has married Zuchu in a highly secretive wedding ceremony that followed Islamic traditions and was attended by family elders.
On June 1, 2025, Diamond posted photos from their wedding on Instagram, both dressed in white Islamic attire. The images also showed the presence of family elders during the intimate ceremony.
Although he did not explicitly confirm the wedding in words, Diamond wrote a cryptic caption:
“I know everyone imagines Diamond Platnumz and a wedding in their own way, but today I want to tell you that this Diamond Platnumz once got married before, and one day I’ll tell you what happened.”
While many were still puzzled, Diamond’s music label, Wasafi, released videos showing passionate moments of love that followed the wedding. In one video, Zuchu can be heard saying:
“My husband. We got married.”
Diamond had previously announced that he would marry Zuchu before Ramadan 2025, but it did not happen then. The topic resurfaced when Diamond attended Juma Jux’s wedding, where he said that he and Zuchu would marry soon. However, as the dates kept shifting, Zuchu was seen expressing sadness on social media.
