President Donald Trump of the United States announced that America will “take over” and “make Gaza its own” after relocating Palestinians elsewhere in an extraordinary plan he claimed could transform the area into the “Middle Eastern Riviera.”
President Trump revealed these new strategies for his country in the Middle East without providing further details during a press conference with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
Before announcing these measures, Trump had surprised many by suggesting that Palestinians in Gaza should be permanently resettled in neighboring countries.
President Trump implied that America would seize Gaza and initiate development projects there.
In front of reporters, he stated: “We will make it ours, and we will do whatever is necessary to destroy and dismantle the planted bombs and other weapons.”
Netanyahu, who praised Trump as “the greatest friend” Israel has ever had, said the U.S. President’s plan was worth “considering” and could “change history.”
