Rwandan artist Yampano has expressed curiosity about an alleged explicit video claimed to feature him, while warning those asserting possession of such content about potential legal consequences.

In an interview with Yago TV Show, Yampano stated that some individuals are attempting to tarnish his reputation:

“We live among mercenaries; someone may approach you with the intention of destroying you. Their actions aim to ruin our lives.”

He emphasized that recording and distributing explicit videos of individuals is a criminal offense:

“I don’t understand how someone could possess such a video—how did you obtain it? There are laws against this.”

Yampano also discussed how technology can be misused to fabricate videos:

“They can set up hidden cameras or use your photos to create different videos. I’m also waiting to see these videos.”

The artist concluded by urging people to respect others’ rights and called on security and justice institutions to pursue those who might distribute such videos.
