The Commander of Uganda’s Armed Forces, General Muhoozi Kainerugaba, has responded to a fan on X (formerly Twitter) who cheekily suggested he should marry Miss Jolly Mutesi as a second wife. In a lighthearted reply, he joked that doing so would get him killed by his wife Charlotte.
This happened after Gen Muhoozi posted a photo of himself alongside President Paul Kagame, captioning it: “We shall defeat all enemies. God bless the heroes.” His followers quickly flooded the comments section, with one person teasing: “Muhoozi, come and take your bride (Jolly Mutesi) as your second wife.”
Gen Muhoozi didn’t hesitate to clap back, replying: “You want Charlotte to kill me.”
His comment immediately sparked mixed reactions online — with some wondering why such a powerful man would fear death, while others laughed it off, saying it was a sign of how much he loves his wife.
Rumors about Muhoozi and Jolly Mutesi first surfaced in 2022, when the General reportedly invited the beauty queen to his birthday celebration. Mutesi declined the invitation, promising she would make it up to him next time.
Gen Muhoozi, son of President Yoweri Museveni, has been married to Charlotte for over 25 years, and together they have four children.
