Hundreds of vigilante group members ‘Operation Dudula’ have on this April 10, marched through the streets of Durban, demanding mass deportation of all illegal immigrants in South Africa.

The protesters chanted anti-immigrants slogans, demanding the government to deal with high number of undocumented immigrants, whom they accuse to involve in various criminal activities.

“So the issues are that people are coming into the country and they are not documented and the government is doing nothing about it, and it’s difficult to find them when they commit crime. We just need our departments to actually enforce the laws that are there, because these laws are not enforced.” Zandile Dabula, the National Secretary for Operation Dudula told the African News reporter.

Operation Dudula is the movement affiliated to ‘Put South Africans Frist’ that first popularized for anti-immigrants campaigns on social media. It’s now led by Nahlanha Lux Dlamini.
