Ferdinand Mutabazi, one of the expelled Green Party members, claims the allegations fronted by the party against him are baseless, citing it is due to the idea that he is against life presidency of Dr Frank Habineza, current party chairman and founder.

Mutabazi told BBC that he had no treacherous plans against the party as stated by another side.

However, he says ” There were misunderstandings between chairman Habineza and I regarding certain issues. Habineza wants to introduce the law that will see him the party president for good.”

” We always suggested how things could be done, yet he listened to us not.” Mutabazi added

Responding to the allegations, Dr Frank Habineza dismissed them saying ” We have never debated about that and we are yet to commence.”

Habineza alleges he has never met Mutabazi because the latter has no party position on national level. ” Adding ” He is not a part of the discussion on the matter at first hand.”

Early this week, Green Party expelled; Jean Deogratious Tuyshime and Ferdinad Mutabazi over what labelled harboring a treacherous plans against the party. They all deny these allegations from self-claimed opposition party.
