Ugandan artist Weasel Manizo has revealed that during his rise in the music industry, he once dated older women—commonly referred to as “sugar mummies”—but says he has now completely stopped.
Speaking in an interview with the media, Weasel admitted that such relationships helped him during difficult times in his music journey, but now he is fully committed to his partner Sandra Teta.
He stated:
“I used to do it, but I stopped. I left that to other artists.”
He refused to name others who may still be involved in similar relationships but confirmed that the practice is still common in the entertainment industry.
His revelation comes shortly after another artist, Grenade Official, also confessed to dating older women, saying they are attracted to him because of his looks and charm.
