NOTICE OF SALE OF MOTOR VEHICLES
The International Centre for Tropical Agriculture (CIAT) is an international Agricultural Research Organization, whose mandate is to reduce hunger and poverty, and improve human nutrition in the tropics through research aimed at increasing eco-efficiency of agriculture.
This notice serves to inform the public that CIAT Rwanda Country Office will be disposing of one (1) Motor vehicle through public tender as shown below:

The vehicles can be inspected at the CIAT Offices located in Kigali, Kacyiru KG 563ST from Wednesday 11th, 2020 to Friday 13th March 2020 between 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
Tender Period and Procedure:
Prospective bidders should submit their bids in sealed envelopes addressed to the CIAT Procurement Committee using the attached bid form to the following address: CIAT Rwanda, Kigali, Kacyiru Solace Way, KG 563ST, Po. Box 1269 Kigali, no later than Monday, 16th March 2020 at 9:00hrs local time.
Note that the above-listed motor vehicle bares IT registration plate and therefore successful bidder will be required to settle clearance tax to the Rwanda Revenue Authority (RRA). The bidder will also be required to subscribe to insurance.
The offer price should be in Rwandan Francs and clearly show the identity of the bidder and details of the vehicle.
The bidder will be expected to pay the full amount within 5 (five) days of notification otherwise; the offer will be given to the next highest bidder.
Bid Evaluation.
The Procurement Committee will review all bids based on the offer price proposed by the bidders.
CIAT reserves the right to reject any offer price if it falls below the minimum net realizable value of the vehicles.
