For the second turn, Nkubiri Alfred the government’s fertilizer supplier has been detained by RIB, along side other 8 entrepreneurs for embezzling of fertilizers valued 9 billion Rwandan francs.
Nkubiri, holds ENAS, a factory processing and supply fertilizers is one among other 8 who have been detained for financial wrong doing.
Talking to bwiza.com , RIB interim spokesperson Bahorera Dominique confirmed this detention and added that their case file has been handed in to prosecution.
He said” it’s true, there are 8 entrepreneurs who have been detained due to embezzlement in fertilizers supply to the farmers.
In 2016, Nkubiri was accused of the similar case where he was arrested for importing unqualified fertilizers in form of DAP from Saudi Arabia.
