President Kagame has on Friday appointed, Alfred Gasana, the new minister in charge of internal affairs a statement from office of the prime minister says.
The position was vacant following the removal from office of Gen Patrick Nyamvumba, who was under investigation.
Not to much is known in public on minister Gasana. However, as per The New Times article dated June 28, 2011, Gasana Alfred was an MP, and chaired Parliamentary Committee on Political Affairs.
