President Paul Kagame and CIC has promoted Brig. Gen Eugène Nkubito to the rank of Major General in Rwanda Defense Forces, (RDF)
Gen Nkubito is currently the Head of RDF in the Eastern Region. He was also first division and Northern Region commander.
According to the statement released today, the promotion takes immediate effect.
