President of Rwanda, Paul Kagame has sent birthday wishes to First Lady, Jeannette Kagame, who is celebrating 60 years of age.
Using his Twitter page, Kagame on Wednesday said 60 years sounds short.
“A very Happy BD Jeannette! 60years sounds short. IMAGINE for 30+ we’ve been together-It is when everything FAMILY & COUNTRY we could look up to happened. Gets harder every day to ask for more or better. Bless ALL of us!!!” Kagame tweeted
Jeannette Nyiramongi Kagame was born August 10 1962 in Burundi. He married Kagame in 1989 in Uganda. She became the First Lady of Rwanda when her husband took office as President in 2000.
The couple have four children: Ivan, Ange, Ian and Brian and two grandchildren
Jeannette Kagame is the Founder and Chairman of Imbuto Foundation, a non-profit organization whose mission is to support the development of a healthy, educated and prosperous society.
She is devoted to uplifting the lives of vulnerable population in Rwanda, particularly those of widows, orphans and impoverished families.
