Greater Virunga Transboundary Collaboration is a Mechanism for strategic, transboundary, collaborative management of the Greater Virunga Landscape. Set up by ICCN, RDB and UWA with their partners in the region, it started with ranger collaboration to protect mountain gorillas in Mgahinga, Bwindi, Virunga and Volcanoes NPs in 1991. Later it has expanded in scope (tourism, community conservation and research and monitoring). The area also now extends to central and north Virunga (DRC), Queen Elizabeth, Rwenzori Mountains and Semuliki NPs (Uganda). The Executive Secretariat sits from 2008 in Kigali to coordinate and link stakeholders on behalf of the Protected Area Authorities.

Tender Title: Supply of electronic materials

GVTC is an Intergovernmental Organization established by the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), Republic of Rwanda and the Republic of Uganda governed by a Treaty whose purpose is to establish a Transboundary Collaboration Framework for programs and activities on wildlife conservation and tourism development in the Greater Virunga Landscape among the Partner States.
GVTC has been coordinating the implementation of NICHE-GLR-264 (3C Project), a project which is financed by the Netherlands Government through the Netherlands Initiative for Capacity Development in Higher Education (NICHE).
It is in this respect that GVTC hereby invites sealed bids from eligible national or regional bidders who have Electronic Billing Machine for a tender of supplying electronic materials and lab equipment. Interested bidder can request the details from GVTC Executive Secretariat at pruhumuliza@greatervirunga.org
The bidder can decide to compete for 1 or both two lots of the tender. The offers well-typed appropriately must reach in sealed envelopes to the office of GVTC Executive Secretariat

The opening of bids will take place on the same day 10.30 a.m. prompt (local time), 8:30 am GMT at the above-mentioned address in the presence of the bidders or their representatives who choose to attend. Late bids will be rejected also GVTC reserves the right to reject any bid deemed inappropriate.
The Outer envelopes should clearly indicate the tender tittle. The bidding process will be conducted in accordance with the GVTC procurement policy.
All materials and equipment will be delivered at the GVTC office at the above-mentioned address.

La GVTC est une organisation intergouvernementale créée par la République démocratique du Congo (RDC), la République du Rwanda et la République d’Ouganda et régie par un traité visant à établir un cadre de Collaboration Transfrontalière pour les programmes et activités sur la conservation de la faune et de la flore ainsi que le développement du tourisme dans le Paysage du Grand Virunga parmi les États partenaires.
La GVTC coordonne la mise en Å“uvre de NICHE-GLR-264 (projet 3C), un projet financé par le gouvernement du Royaume des Pays-Bas dans le cadre de l’Initiative Néerlandaise pour le Développement des Capacités dans l’Enseignement Supérieur (NICHE).
C’est dans cette optique que la GVTC lance un appel d’offres aux soumissionnaires nationaux ou régionaux éligibles disposant d’un système de facturation électronique pour la fourniture de matériel électronique et de l’équipement de laboratoire. Le/la soumissionnaire peut décider de concourir pour un ou les deux lots de l’offre. L’ouverture des soumissions aura lieu le jour même à 10 h 30 (heure locale), à ??8 h 30 GMT à l’adresse susmentionnée, en présence des soumissionnaires ou de leurs représentants qui choisissent d’y assister. Les offres tardives seront rejetées. GVTC se réserve le droit de rejeter toute offre jugée inappropriée.
Sur l’enveloppe il faut clairement indiquer le titre. Le processus d’appel d’offres sera mené conformément à la politique de passation des marchés de la GVTC.
