In a way to promote the Education level, Ministry of Education is set to eradicate the Automatic promotion and asseverate punition to teachers who will be against.
This was revealed by the Minister of education Dr Mujawamariya valentine in a press conference held on friday on objectives to promote education level and prepare for the next academic year 2020-2021.
Minister of education Dr.Mujawamariya Valentine has said to the media that the government’s constructing over 22,000 new classrooms and hiring a number of teachers to eradicate the Automatic promotion.
This program was set to promote education for all and motivate the return of drop outs, hence the high number of students in classes especially in primary schools.
Some teachers have revealed that this automatic promotion was mostly done due insufficient number of class rooms against a high demand.
Minister Dr Mujawamariya Valentine further noticed that this hindrance Won’t be there again as we are going to have enough teachers and enough classrooms
More so,The Minister Dr Mujawamariya Valentine added that “if the teacher in class is well equipped, having a favorite number of students, how should he or she explain the reason for automatic promotion!?
Minster added that at least a class will have 23 desks occupying not more than 40 students as the statistics shows that it used to occupy around 85 students as international regulation recommends not to exceed 45.
