1. Introduction
The Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH is a federally owned international cooperation enterprise for sustainable development with worldwide operations. GIZ has worked in Rwanda for over 30 years. The primary objectives between the Government of Rwanda and the Federal Republic of Germany are poverty reduction and promotion of sustainable development. To achieve these objectives, GIZ Rwanda is active in the sectors of Decentralization and Good Governance, Economic Development and Employment Promotion, Energy and ICT (Information and Communications Technology).
As a company operating internationally in the field of sustainable development, it is both GIZ mandate and mission to hold corporate sustainability as a priority. GIZ aims to respond to increasingly extensive reporting requirements and higher expectations on the part of its current and future clients by systematically improving its sustainability performance and ensuring transparency in the way we present this performance to the world.
In order to implement the different projects and programs, GIZ employees and its development partner need to travel within Africa and to Europe. Hence GIZ RW likes to request interested travel agencies to submit your Expression of Interest for travel services especially international air tickets.

List of the technical support team (24*7)
Discount on African and European Flights booking
Copy of agreement of authorized General Sales Agent (GSA) of any Airlines ( valid in 2020)
Charge for fixed date flight (not flexible tickets)
Cancellation charge and conditions
Extra charge, if applicable, buying the online ticket
Payment mode and currency
Credit days
Other services you can offer beside air ticket selling
How to facilitate to track/send regular report of tickets sold to the client
Report provision about the emission of Co2
Service charge charged to GIZ for ticketing and other services
Document Required from the Travel Agency
Copy of registration certificates
VAT clearance certificates latest
Copy of IATA valid certificate
Copy of national travel association certificate
Previous and current experiences with other international organization (reference letters of the 2020 year)
Copy of agreement of authorized General Sales Agent (GSA) of any Airlines ( valid in 2020)
List of modern computerized ticketing system your agency is using
To put initials and seal of the firm on each page of your EOI
2. How to submit of EoI
Please submit your EoI document (only 1 copy) in the sealed envelope until latest Thursday 06 March 2020 at 4:00 pm, at the front desk of
