Rwanda Investigation Bureau is currently holding a Headmaster of College Adventiste de Gitwe for forcefully recruiting children into a religion, contrary to rights of children.
Suspect Nshimiyimana Gilbert will have his dossier processed and delivered to prosecution. The investigative body says it is still conducting further investigations into this matter.
“We cannot reveal details because investigations are being conducted,” RIB Spokesperson Marie Michelle Umuhoza said.
RIB has cautioned all schools and Rwandans in general that children have the rights and liberty to reason, think and freely express and choose for themselves.
RIB says this must be respected.
