CIMERWA Ltd is Rwanda’s largest cement manufacturer with a capacity of 600,000tons of cement per year with PPC Ltd having 51% shareholding. The company Operates a dry process technology Plant in Muganza Sector, Rusizi District in Western Province. As part of its localization and optimization plans the Company is recruiting professionals to fully optimize its production capacity and hence cater to the country’s growing demand for cement and that of the region.CIMERWA Ltd is looking for an experienced professional to fill the following vacancy.

Key duties and responsibilities;
Reporting to stores supervisor, the Issuer will be responsible for the following duties;
Ensure issuing of stock items is done in compliance with Procedures
Allocating inventory costs to proper distribution rules
Ensure the use of right code as well as the right pick of the item from a bin
Ensure the availability of timely and accurate records of issued stocks.
Ensure required filing for further reference and audit purpose
Avoid unauthorized access to stocks for required security of materials
Provide daily and weekly reports for issued stocks versus stock levels
Ensure proper storage of materials to avoid breakages, deterioration, weathering, and related wastage.
Conducting periodic stock take, identifying and reporting of discrepancies
Reconciliation of on-hand stocks versus moved stocks
Manage the transfer of materials to different stores/sites.
Providing excellent customer service to both internal and external customers.
Comply with SHERQ policy as well as other rules and regulations
Education and experience requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in-store management, Accounting and/ or Management.
At least 2 years of experience in inventory management in the manufacturing industry.
Skills and competences required
Excellent managerial and interpersonal skills to monitor flows of stocks
Basic Accounting Principles
Proficiency in ICT
Good reporting skills
Integrity to deal with confidential information
Teamwork spirit
Ability to work under tight deadlines and pressure;
High level of integrity and honest
Flexible and energetic, able to perform physical activities such as, but not limited to, lifting (up to 25 kgs. unassisted), bending, standing, climbing or walking on a consistent basis
Willingness to work and live in a remote area.
English proficiency (Read; write & speak). French; Kinyarwanda; or Swahili would be advantageous.
