Tearfund in Rwanda is looking for a competent and experienced Project Coordinator, to coordinate the implementation of the PASSAGES project funded by USAID. The project aims to reduce sexual and gender-based violence by transforming harmful gender norms using the Transforming Masculinity approach developed by Tearfund.

The Project Coordinator will provide support to Tearfund’s partners to adapt the Transforming Masculinity approach, implement, monitor, evaluate and report on the project in accordance with agreed objectives and donor requirements.

Tearfund also place great importance on recruiting a Project Coordinator who has a practical commitment to Tearfund’s values, vision, and mission when working alongside Tearfund’s partner organizations and the project stakeholders.

The successful applicant will have:

Degree or equivalent qualification in development, international relations, or other relevant courses (sexual & reproductive health, family planning, gender).
Experience in project design, planning, and management,
Experience budgeting and budget management
Experience in monitoring and evaluation of development projects
Proven capacity-building experience especially for local partners
Experience in managing compliance and documentation for donors preferably USAID
Are you willing to frequently travel and work with local partners? Are you an excellent team player? Are you adaptable and flexible? Do you have excellent written and verbal communication in English, Kinyarwanda or French? If so, this could be the role for you!

The Annual gross salary set for the Project Coordinator is RWF 15,134,004.

The post involves potential contact with children/ vulnerable adults and the recruitment process will include specific checks related to safeguarding issues.
