Rwanda: 295 Eurotrade Int’l workers join RPF Inkotanyi

295 employees of Eurotrade International Ltd mining company found by a British national Luke Loges, sworn in as the new members of Rwanda’s ruling political party, RPF Inkotanyi.

The event took place on March 24, 2022, in Shyorongi sector, Rulindo district, nothern Rwanda, where the mining company operates.

On Sunday after nine days, this new members celebrated together with local government led by the district Mayor, Judith Mukanyirigira, also the party’s chairwoman at the district level.

Mayor Judith took the opportunity to discuss mainly with new members about the values as well as the function of the party and how to improve their day-to-day work at the workplace.

In interview with Bwiza.com, Mayor Judith explains more about the celebration. “We have given them a variety of lectures about the values of the party. You see, they are the employees in the company where they have to be exemplary. This is why we discussed with them about the means to improve the work and provide good services at workplace.”

James Mudahunga, Director of Eurotrade Int’l says there was not any politics or pressure that led the employees to the swear-in. “It’s a blessing for them. They did for themselves. No district or sector leader came to mobilize and teach them, neither did I. RPF Inkotanyi is joined voluntarily.”

Gaspard Murekezi, one of the sworn-in, said he joined with great concern as he praises good leadership of the party. “After learning from the leadership of RPF Inkotanyi, I decided to join.”

His colleague, Ernestine Umuhoza says she is happy to join after longtime being embroiled in religious doctrine that denies joining the political parties. “I will work for RPF Inkotanyi as much as I can.”
