Today, Rwanda and the world mark the 28th commemoration of the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi.
The event to begin the national mourning week will be held at The Kigali Genocide Memorial.
The event will also held in the villages across Rwanda in the morning while President Kagame is to address the nation at midday.
This year commemoration theme is “Remember, unite, renew”
