US Secretary of State, Anthony Blinken, has landed in Kigali on Wednesday ahead of meeting Rwandan President, Paul Kagame.
He was received by Rwanda’s Foreign Minister, Dr Biruta Vincent, who was with US embassy to Rwanda charge d’Affaires, McLean.
It is expected the duo will hold discuss on different issues including security, human rights to name a few.
The imprisonment of Rusesabagina and M23 rebels issue will be on the table of discussion.
Kagame on Twitter yesterday, said there will be no pressure regarding the release of Rusesabagina.
