Head of the Catholic Church, His Holiness Pope Francis, has appointed Bishop Musengamana Papias, Bishop of Byumba Diocese.
He replaces Bishop Servilien Nzakamwita who went into retirement, the statement from Conference Episcopale du Rwanda said on Monday, 28 February
Mgr Nzakamwita was the bishop for Byumba Diocese in northern Rwanda in last 27 years.
Musengamana was the Head of Grand Seminaire de Nyakibanda, he served in other capacity of Catholic Church in Rwanda.
