Rwanda has refuted claims by the Spokesperson of the North Kivu Governor, Gen de Bde Sylvain Ekenge Bomusa Efomi, accusing RDF of supporting armed elements that attacked FARDC in Tshanzu and Runyoni, DRC.

Gen de Bde Sylvain Ekenge Bomusa Efomi, on Monday announced that their forces has captured alive two RDF soldiers; Warrant Officer Habyarimana Jean-Pierre and Private Uwajeneza John aka Waje during the action.
Bomusa said both fighters are posted in RDF 65 brigade, batallion 402 with headquarters in Kibungo, Eastern Rwanda.
DRC has been accusing RDF of supporting M23 armed group, the latter denies the accusations vehemently.
